Today I am scheduled to speak at the University of Illinois Springfield with an economics class on Entrepreneurship. If the election were over it would be an easier task.

The challenge for future entrepreneurs should Romney win, will be like climbing Mt. McKinley. Should Obama win, Mt. Everest.

After spending nearly a billion dollars in an attempt to create a false image of the capitalist Romney, the money proved wasted when a competent, knowledgeable, and more presidential appearing Romney destroyed the false narrative during the debates.

It is difficult to gage which was more damaging to Obama, sixty million Americans finally get to see an unfiltered Romney, or sixty million finally getting to see an unscripted Obama. Platitudes don’t seem to go as far in the 2012 election as in 2008.

Obama’s inability to run on his economic record of abject failure clearly defined by Romney in the debates, was forced to put forward an economic plan less than two weeks from election day. Economic plans for Obama, apparently are as difficult as budgets, there haven’t been any in three years.

Larry Kudlow opined on Thursday Obama’s plan was ‘little’. Obama is proposing more of the same big government, big spending, debt creating, tax raising solutions found in the DNA of left wing ideology. Kudlow believes this will lead to certain national bankruptcy.

What am I to say to my class of future entrepreneurs? Kudlow is right? You face a nation headed to bankruptcy with an Obama win? How do you create a successful business in a bankrupt nation? Focus on products and services that are necessary for survival? Clothing, food, energy, shelter, or property confiscation and liquidation? If all collapses; guns, ammunition, and food storage?

The danger is Obama’s real plan must go beyond what was released. After all, had Obama shared his real plans prior to the 2008 elections he would never have won. Remember Obama was the candidate who said; “We are only four days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America’.

Now we know what Obama meant. He doesn’t seem to care so much for America as founded. Obama circumvents congress through the bureaucratic state, and is potentially destroying the relationship between the governed and the government with Obamacare. Individual sovereignty, government by the consent of the governed, and the Constitution is anathema to concentrate federal authority managed by liberal masterminds.

To echo Yogi Berra
In theory one could construct a society that caps the maximum income and wealth of its members. Northwest "potlatch" tribes and The New England Puritan work ethic come to mind.
In practice it hasn't worked out too well. Obama's effort has so far been awful.

demythologizing the tropes of the Left--

re:
"Considering we were mired in two wars, losing 700,000 jobs a month, credit markets were frozen, the auto industry on the brink of insolvency, and bin Laden still alive when Obama took over, I don't see how any reasonable person could consider the current situation worse."

*******************

Let's see...the worst and slowest recovery since the 1930's...the guvment set to take over 1/6 of the economy-- that has worked SO WELL elsewhere! Gas prices are HIGH even as Obama kills further sourcing in favor of electric cars with a LARGER carbon footprint! Housing is still moribund, so the Left is renewing pressure to return to the debacle with MORE CRA/sub-prime lending to the uncreditworthy!

Debt and the deficit are soaring! Unemployment is TERRIBLE! Work force participation is LOWER than when the ObaMessiah slithered in! We are NOT respected elsewhere-- we are mocked and taunted. No solutions to the entitlement challenges even proposed. But, 2 straight Obama budgets voted down with NO VOTES in Congress! Not even socialist Bernie Sanders would vote for Obama's budgets!

America SAW in the debates that the months of $ millions spent by the Obamanators trying to assassinate Romney's character did not dovetail with the man they saw-- and they found Romney reasonable, thoughtful, and likable-- and HE has new ideas. Attacking Romney is NOT a vision or a plan. Obama is playing Small Ball...we need someone with a record of winning and succeeding when he engages, not someone trying to learn on his first EVER executive job.

We have been there, done that with the ObaMessiah. It is OK to admit our collective mistake and dump the socialist dissembler and excuse-maker who is clueless about leading.

Clint Eastwood is RIGHT-- on election day, "Make My Day!"

Rasmussen Today (10/25)

Who won the debates?

Romney 49
Obama 41

As the challenger, a HUGE advantage for Romney, ESPECIALLY given the torrent of ad hominem advertising meant to discredit him when the Obamanators could NOT run on his egregious record of failure. Many Americans first really saw Romney in the debates-- and they liked what they saw.

Winning and losing the debates from a technical standpoint (debate scoring on points) is NOT as important as impressions formed by 70 million watching. And this year it is liberal mythology debunked that "debates do not matter."

The Obamanators had known that they COULD NOT run on his sorry record, so they reverted to a relentless ad hominem on Romney. One professional observer said he had NEVER seen such a negative barrage.

But Romney altered the trend of the whole election when his demeanor in Debate 1 gave lie to the false portrayals of the Left. As old Joe Kennedy once said, it is not who you are that matters but how people perceive you. Now O is seeming MUCH smaller-- surly, without a message or plan. Romney-- CLEARLY presidential

Question for 2008 Obama voters.
If you knew, in 2008, what you know now about Barry Soetoro, aka Barack Hussein Obama, would you have voted for him ? …thought not.

Please do not make the same mistake twice. Vote for a free America not a “free” cellphone. You do not want to find out what you still do not know about him.

Let me tell a story about George W. Bush's motto of 'Let's go shopping!' as a battle cry to motivate Americans in the war against the Islamo-Fascists here in the 21st century.

I asked a Tea Party guy if he thought Bush's 'Let's go Shopping' motto reminded him of the WWII battle cry 'Remember Pearl Harbor!'

He said, "Why yes, my wife has forced me to go shopping in large malls many times. We walked and walked and walked and walked. My feet and back ached so bad! One time, if felt like the 'Bataan Death March.'

I asked incredulously, "Really?"

He said, "Well, yes, until I saw the Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream shop and we went in and ordered an extra large banana split for two."

Re-elect you in order to see your plan?
No thanks. Nancy Pelosi already ran that scam and we are just starting to get that mess cleaned up.

Maybe you can use that plan in one of the chapters of your next book, "The Ugly Un-American".

Barry Hussein Obama did not “inherit” the economy in 2009. He caused it !!!
Barry and the ObambacRATS took control of Congress on January 3, 2007. That is when the destruction of the country, the people and the economy started.
That is when 23,000,000 Americans started losing private- sector tax paying jobs.
Before that date the country was thriving, unemployment was 4.7%, and an additional 300,000 new private sector jobs were created every month. Gas cost less than $1.82 per gallon.
The DemocRAT-controlled Senate prevents House bills from being law.
