Now in his 9th year as host of WAVA Radio’s The Don Kroah Show, Don came to the Washington, DC area in October, 1997 after 34 years of fulltime pastoral ministry in New England. During those years he also worked as a radio news anchor, reporter, political commentator and talk show host in general-market radio in Maine.
The Don Kroah Show can be heard Monday through Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. on WAVA at 780am and 105.1fm-WAVA, and on the internet at www.wava.com.
As part of his work at WAVA, Don has become known as a strong voice on behalf of the persecuted church, as the show has been instrumental in mobilizing listeners to become directly involved in helping fellow-Christians who are suffering for their faith in countries around the world.
Don is the founder and president of Reach Africa Now and of Don Kroah Ministries, through which he has conducted pastors’ training conferences and spoken at citywide crusades in Kenya, East Africa and in Nigeria, West Africa, as well as churches here in the greater DC-Baltimore area.
He has also traveled to Nicaragua with World Vision International, to South Korea, Cambodia, & Nigeria with The Bible League, and to Jamaica with Food For The Poor, learning first-hand about these ministries in order to better serve them in fund-raising efforts here in the U.S.
Don and his family live in Annapolis, Maryland.
