Why do you always talk to Tea Party people? We know your conversation are imaginary. But it would be interesting to hear you speaking to Occupiers with whom you are no doubt very familiar. How about sharing some conversations with them?

I talked to a Tea Party Express guy the other day. I told him that if the Republican Party had truly mended their BIG government ways, the first thing they should repeal is their Medicare Prescription scheme.

He said, "No way, it's the Republican Party's gift to the American people and it was paid for with the Bush tax cut. It's essentially free."

I said, "Isn't it another socialist health care entitlement program that was never paid for?"

He said, "No, I'm getting benefit from it now!"

Folks, doesn't this sound like the old Republican unsaid mantra of, "When we talk of small government, it's only for you, Big government for us."

Give that man a seat in our own congress! He has spoken more unfiltered, unsanitized, non-teleprompted truth then I've heard in years. "What planet are you on?", should be asked of our entire Washington power-elites! The American people have been lied to, betrayed, scammed and ignored by Washington for decades! As far as I'm concerned, the Tea Party movement were far too polite. We need to vote the bumbs out of Washington and the bureaucracies... fire the Unions and start from scratch...with a free capitalist system..and a minimal Gov't interference..like it used to be. Write streamlined laws and then get out of our way. We the people will save America from Washington..again!

The EU was bad idea from the very start, and should be disbanded.
It's fairly simple- even for the challenged- the United States is a collection of states populated with AMERICANS.
The EU is a collection of sovereign nations with people who have different heritage, (used to have ) different coin, differing culture, different LANGUAGE. They need to remain sovereign, and the EU disbanded.

They only banded together in order to create an economic counterpoint to the U.S. economy. They are practically insignifigant by themselves. Germany is the biggest country in Europe, and it's the size of Wisconsin.

Well, actually, the US started as a group of Sovereign States, until the Civil War where states lost much of their independence and the Federal Govt. became much more powerful. Following Mr. Farage's points, the US needs to decentralize and go back to more loosely aligned states who joined together for security and certain interstate trade rules. The EU should do this, as should we. We were all better off when taxes were levied locally. In the early 1800s most taxes were local, and you stood a chance of meeting with your reps to let them know how you feel about the taxes. Today most taxes are levied by people who actually live in DC and "vacation" in their home districts. They have contact with many more lobbyists than constituents.
