This past week, America was subjected to the high-stakes game of legislative rock paper scissors.  The players to watch on the scissors team were Ruth Bader Ginsburg (played by Ruth Buzzi), Sonia Sotomayor (played by Zoila Chavez), and Elena Kagan (played by Rachel Maddow -- or played by Abby Elliot playing Rachel Maddow).

The question before the Supreme Court is whether Congress has the authority under the Commerce Clause of the US Constitution to order every American to buy a government-approved level of health insurance and to charge a financial penalty to those citizens who do not comply.

When I first heard about the intentions of Obamacare, it sounded like the recurring nightmare of Hillarycare.  Even though President Clinton enjoyed four years of Democratic control in both the House and the Senate, his party was unable to agree on the structure of a government takeover of the medical free market.  The salient intra-party debate was whether the citizens would rebel over Hillary’s task force recommendation for a “single-payer” system.

since all of these Judges have swore to abide by the Constitution , what will happen if they don't abolish Obamacare in it's entirety ..Impeach them?

We need to term limit judges. When the Constitution was written, the average life expectancy was probably 50.

Judge Bork should have changed one word in the above-mentioned quote. We must ASK that our judges adhere? We must expect, indeed, impeach and expel any judge who has the temerity NOT to adhere to our Constitution.

True. But, as I see it, we are a nation of pansies. We might have to suffer if we buck the government. It ain't gonna happen. People prefer comfort over confrontation by their very natures.

If the court rules against Obamacare Obama will use executive order to keep it in place. If by luck Obama lose next Nov Obamacare will still be in place.

I agree. He's bucked the Constitution so many times, what makes anyonw think he'll do differently this time? Sadly, I think we're just a few year away from being under a totalitarian governement. There will be 2 classes of people. . .those (like me) living in a cardboard box. . .and the politicians.

I sure hope this fails. They cannot make people purchase car insurance.
I know because We have had people hit four of our cars that had no insurance.
The same people end up paying. The takers continue to take or rob the system. They just stay home watch Oprha on TV, drink, do drugs and make babies for more welfare money. When they go out they rob, steal, rape, kill, sell drugs and put young girls into the sex trade.
Just more failures from the 0-buma liars!
All the liberals nead to get thehellout of here!

Justice Kagen should recuse herself. Obamacare passed despite the millions of signatures on petitions urging otherwise. It was written behind closed doors and voted on without the promise of "transparency"--72 hours posted online, among other things--by then-candidate Obama. Every congressperson who voted FOR this bill should be defeated at the polls, even Speaker Piglosi whose HIV-AIDS constituents think they'll GET healthcare with their pre-existing conditions, though if they could read the bill, they'd see their coverage would be denied because of the expense, their age, or their physical health. Death panels don't discriminate against younger sick people.

Someone more cynical might say the fate of Obamacare lies in who's money swears louder http://www.zombielogicblog.blogspot.com/2012/03/bribes-in-america-webcomic-by-david.html

There is much confusion and indeed soul searching as to how badly we have been tricked with this Obamacare bill. Did we just watch as the Magician flashed the shiny object in one hand while doing the dirt with the other?

Some think is is a Hobsons choice; take this or walk (no horse for you)! I worry instead that it is more of a dilemma with two paths: We take Obamacare or we get Single Payer which they have wanted all along! Indeed that is why with Clinton and the Democrats controlling everything in DC except the Taco Truck no Single Payer bill was possible.

It truly is an ill wind that blows Nobody Good!

If I could say one thing in favor of the Obamacare bill it is that when operating, it would collect a modicum of money from...

the users in fees or fines but if by default we get a single payer system the 50% of taxpayers who already carry the entire burden of the country would then be paying the patients medical bill with NO DEDUCTIBLE! the non payers would be treated like kings!

If that happens, I plan to become a non-payer. I refuse to pay taxes to support socialism.

I don't belive Obama has an agenda of Utopia. His agenda is that he allows a gangster of Federal Reserve and financial psychopaths to control the nation's economy. If that is how you define Utopia so be it.
