The concept of caring for others is spoken of quite a bit in the Bible. However, I believe that there is a huge difference between caring for those who can't care for themselves and caring for those who won't care for themselves. Furthermore, nowhere in the Bible do I find anything that even remotely suggests that it is good and proper to take by force from one to give to another. That is what is called theft. I see nothing wrong with encouraging your neighbor to give to those in need if he has the means to do so, but I find it appalling that there are so many in this nation who would not only condone having government take from one class to give to another, but have convinced themselves that do do so would be noble.

If you think this society hasn't harmed it's own citizenry, you're deluding yourself.Look at how society has decided that we need to give the wealthy even more money than they already possess. Who will it come from? Those whose jobs were sent out to other countries at TAXPAYERS' expense; some of which were replaced with jobs paying significantly less, many of which are just plain GONE. But hey, who cares? Nobody's poor, at least no one worth speaking of.

If the cap gains tax were 0 or 5% or 10%, Mr. Romney would likely have made differnet investment decisions, making more trades, making more profits for himself and paying more taxes to the gov't. Everybody wins. And what is also ignored is the fact that when capital is free, it will find the most efficient and profitable home.

He assumed power during a slump, then generated two recessions during which a 10% mortgage rate was REALLY good.
